[Ferro-Alloys.com] The Brazilian mining giant Vale’s iron ore exports totaled 22.47 million tons in March, up by 13.75% year on year, according to data released by the country’s National Union of the Industry of Extraction of Iron and Base Metals (Sinferbase).

In the first three months of this year, Vale’s iron ore exports amounted to 62.31 million tons, increasing by 16.87% year on year.

In March alone, Vale’s iron ore domestic sales totaled 1.28 million tons, increasing by 11.36% year on year. In the first quarter, the company’s iron ore domestic sales amounted to 3.55 million tons, down by 5.92% year on year.
