The export prices were: CaSi30#USD2,180-2,200/mt FOB, CaSi28# USD2,100-2,130/mt FOB at Tianjin port.

Due to the weak demand, CaSi manufacturers began to give lower quotations which caused the different prices in China. It’s clearly known that suppliers had great desire to sell. While there were few new orders to get and most orders were from old clients.

Considering the producing costs, it seems that current CaSi prices may be closer to the costs and the CaSi price may have less chance to go down in future.
