In the first seven months, China totally exported 1,850 tons silicon manganese, showing a steep decline compared to the same period of last year 16,217.366 tons. As for imports market, China only imported 535 tons silicon manganese from January to July, representing a significant falling from the the same period of last year7,2279.77 tons.

Given as high as 20% export tariff on silicon manganese in China, it seems that silicon manganese export would be hard to get out of dilemma this year.
