[Ferro-Alloys.com]This week LME nickel price further declined, which closed at USD17,858/mt on Sept.18th, decreasing by USD515/mt than last week. Nickel stock increased by 6828tons to 339,288tons. Chinese nickel metal price declined by RMB 3900/mt with offers at RMB125,000-125,100 /mt on Sept.19th.

In recent days, the falling condition of LME nickel and nickel ores pulled down the FeNi price. Low FeNi price maintained at RMB2,580-2,630/mt in recent weak. Medium and high FeNi price declined by RMB10/Ni as FeNi with (Ni 4-6%) at RMB1260-1280/Ni, ferronickel (Ni 6-8%) at RMB1250-1270/Ni and ferronickel (Ni 10-15%) at RMB1250-1270/Ni. For the tight fund, high FeNi suppliers were active to deal with their products. However, as the expectation for FeNi outlook was still not optimistic, most of the discontinued manufactures still kept the wait and see attitude. In addition, the stainless steel mills did not worry to purchase for the adequate stock of the raw materials, so it was expected that the weak condition of high FeNi was hard to be changed in short term.
