Medium carbon ferromanganese is focusing on RMB8,000-8,200/mt. Low carbon ferromanganese 80C0.7 is pricing at RMB9,300-9,500/mt, some as low as RMB9,100-9,200/mt.

In terms of latest bidding results of steel mills for December, NISCO put high carbon ferromanganese lower by RMB120/mt to RMB5,360/mt on 65# with 600 tons, and RMB10,300/mt for low carbon ferromanganese 84C0.04 with 1200 tons. JISCO put medium carbon ferromanganese FeMn75-82C2.0 purchase price fix at RMB8,150/mt with 60 tons while RMB11,850/mt for low carbon Mn≥80%，C≤0.08% with 60 tons. Kunming Iron and Steel Holding Co.,Ltd reduced high carbon ferromanganese by RMB100/mt to RMB6,435/mt for 75#. Zenith Steel Group Company knocked down purchase price on high carbon 75 with RMB6,100/mt.  

In general, apart from falling sale, capital pressure by the end of the year also aggravated ferromanganese participants’ burden. Since no signs of positive signal on market, producers seem to lack of confidence on future market.
