[Ferro-alloys.com] According to latest data of the General Administration of Customs, China exported 0.344 million mt of manganese metal (811100) in 2014, up 31% year-on-year. This statistic included electrolytic manganese metal (EMM) and manganese metal products. Export value was USD 0.724 billion, up 26% year-on-year.

As overall price dropped, export amount increased much but export value did not increase by the same degree.

China’s manganese metal was mostly exported to America, Japan, Netherlands, South Korea and Brazil. Other big importers included Mexico, Singapore, Taiwan Province, Hong Kong, India, Spain and Canada.
