Chongqing Wuling mainly purchases MnO3 ore from local mines. Local government provides subsidy to Mn ore processing enterprises and Chongqing Wuling could get ample supply of MnO3 ore currently. However, after years of excavation, recoverable reserve in Xiushan County is only 28 million mt at present. The company has begun to construct a 0.6 million mt Mn ore project in Songtao County, Guizhou Province. This project is expected to be put into production in 2016 and it would supply sufficient Mn ore to Chongqing Wuling.
