The US exported $2.5-billion in polysilicon from the solar market in 2010, according to a new research paper by GTM Research. Of total polysilicon production for the PV market of 150,332 mt in 2010, 37,713 mt came from the US. The paper is entitled “US Solar Energy Trade Assessment 2011.”
