An official from the company noted that the output of electrolytic nickel during the first ten months is appromately 13,000t. But daily output decreases 50 percent to 25t due to lower price, and reserves 100t in the warehouse.

Recently, considering tougher environment and lower price, the company cancelled sales to it regular customers, mainly stainless steel makers in Guangxi Province.

Compared to electrolytic nickel, maybe nickel sulfate performs better in the market. Under this condition, the company has set up to produce nickel sulfate since December 2015 through two production lines with a capacity of 10,000 t since December 2015. In December, the firm would first start a line of the two and the other in June 2016, the spokesperson said, and added that they tend to produce 21% nickel sulfate, considering the ternary-material factories in Guangxi Province and Henan Province as the main customers.
