Despite the free trade zone with EU, in 2016 demand for Ukrainian metal on world markets will continue to decrease. In 2015 EU quotations for Ukrainian metal were increased, but an overall situation in trade with European countries worsened. Metal prices on world markets started falling in 2012 due to the large reserves and the decrease of economical growth rate in China. “This was one of the reasons for our economy to start falling. I don’t expect any changes in 2016, as the metal industry revenues would decrease”, said the economist Boris Kushniruk. (Ukrainian metal)
