[Ferro-Alloys.com]IIt is reported that Pakistan government is likely to abandon its PSM steel acquisition, due to unable to gain the benefits in the short term.
In earlier, Pakistan Privatization Commission has asked the government to submit the acquisition proposal on January 21, 2016, but the government has not committed any decision so far. The government may to waive this takeover.
According to market sources, Chinese companies have submitted the proposal intended to buy PSM steel with a total investment of US$778 million, but no further details to reveal so far.
