Vietnam Ministry of Price administration said in January this year, Vietnam steel production and sales were both down.

Meanwhile, Vietnam steel prices fell by US10/ton compared to last December, the reason is the large quantity of imports steel with cheaper prices into Vietnam market, which leads to Vietnam's domestic steel overcapacity and prices decline further.
