[Ferro-Alloys.com] There has been a lot of news flow from W Resources PLC (LON:WRES) in the past week as it reported positive news from a number of its projects.
Last week, the Europe-focused mining firm posted positive results from its São Martinho gold project and Tarouca project in Portugal, while this morning, it said the La Parrilla tungsten project in Spain is capital efficient and can be quickly scaled up to higher production rates at low costs, according to new engineering work.
Speaking to Proactive investors, chairman Michael Masterman, says at the La Parrilla tungsten project, the firm is “on every front – geology, mining and metallurgy - we’re keeping schedule keeping things running and the end of 2016 is still on track”.
He adds that it is “great to see the strength in the gold price,” and thinks the tungsten price will show similar strength in 2016.
