www.ferro-alloys.com: President Rodrigo Duterte has reappointed four of his Cabinet secretaries bypassed by the Commission on Appointments (CA), the Office of the Executive Secretary (OES) said Monday (April 17) night.

In a statement, OES said Duterte issued ad interim appointments to four members of his Cabinet including Environment Secretary Gina Lopez, Health Secretary Paulyn Ubial, Social Welfare Secretary Judy Taguiwalo, and Agrarian Reform Secretary Rafael Mariano.

Official documents from the CA show that of the 41 Presidential appointees listed during the 17th Congress’ first regular session as of April 17, the four reappointed Cabinet members received their reappointment last March 16, 2017.

CA majority leader and Isabela Rep. Rodolfo Albano lll earlier said that they would not be tackling the appointments of the four during their last plenary session on March 15, making them bypassed, but leaving their reappointment to Duterte.
