Print[Ferro-Alloys.com]According to data released by Stainless Steel Council of China Special Steel Enterprise Association, China's crude stainless steel output totaled 7.082 million tons in the first half of 2012, rising by 5.25% YoY.
In the first half of 2012, the production of chromium nickel based stainless steel increased by 3.12% YoY; that of chromium manganese based stainless steel rose by 8.36% YoY and that of chromium based stainless soared by 8.20% YoY.
In addition, China's apparent consumption of stainless steel in the first six months of 2012 amounted to 5.614 million tons, up by 6.88% YoY.
