Iron ore ports in Australia prepared for tropical cyclone

Australia's Pilbara Ports Authority, which works the world's biggest export center point for iron ore, has given requests for the Port of Dampier, a key port for Rio Tinto, to be cleared on Friday as a feature of typhoon arrangements. It a notice late on Thursday, the expert said that the ports of Ashburton, Dampier and Port Hedland were planning for tropical violent wind Riley, which was seaward of northern Western Australia.

"The Port of Dampier will start clearing vessels from the safe havens and terminals in an organized way," the notice said. The port was expected to be cleared by 1 pm Friday, nearby time.
