Print[Ferro-Alloys.com] Recently China Electrolytic Manganese market stayed weak and the recent price was quite firm after a short-lived slip. The current price was around RMB12,700-12,800/mt in the southern China market, and export price was at USD2,565-2,615/mt. Because of the high costs of Electrolytic Manganese, insiders said it was unlikely to rise or fall sharply.
In term of Chinese market, the demand from downstream sectors keeps depressing, and market players would not sell their products at lower prices, thus they make fewer deals. Electrolytic Manganese traders’ profits shrunk since Sep., most of them are taking wait-and-see attitude towards the future.
