According to the China Special Steel Enterprise Association Stainless Steel Branch statistics， in the production field, our stainless-steel production of the first half year was 13.961 million tons, decreased  of 0.393 million tons year-on-year, down 2.7%. Among them, the production of Cr stainless steel was 2.589 million tons, an increase of 2.9%, accounting for 18.5% of the total stainless steel. The production of  Cr-Ni stainless steel was 6.899 million tons, down 2.35% from the same period last year, accounting for 49.4% of the total stainless steel, while the output of Cr-Mn stainless steel was 4.382 million tons, down 6.4% from the same period last year, accounting for 31.4% of the total stainless steel.

In the field of import and export, China imported 63.6 million tons of stainless steel in the first half of the year, down 6.4% from the same period last year, and exported 1.613 million tons of stainless steel, down 5.0% from the same period last year.

In the first half of the year, the apparent consumption of stainless steel in China was 11.659 million tons, down 27.1 million tons from the same period last year, down 2.3%.
