On March 24, 2022, the European Commission(‘the Commission’) initiated an announcement to make a final affirmative anti-dumping ruling on calcium silicon (‘CaSi’) originating in China and decided to levy 31.5% to 50.7% of the products involved from the day after the announcement. A definitive anti-dumping duty is imposed on imports of calcium silicon, currently falling under CN codes ex 7202 99 80 and ex 2850 00 60 (TARIC codes 7202 99 80 30 and 2850 00 60 91) and originating in the People’s Republic of China.
 
The rate of the definitive anti-dumping duty applicable to the net, free-at-Union-frontier price, before duty, of the products described in paragraph 1 and produced by the companies listed below, shall be as follows:
