PrintTaiwan Formosa group's investment of the Fujian Fuxin Special Steel Co a Greenfield stainless steel works in south east China’s Fujian province, is successful to produce the first batch of steel products on May 12th 2013.
The plant main production is 300 and 400 series stainless steel coils and sheets.
According to understanding, the thin thickness of its hot rolled sheet is 0.3mm and of its cold rolled sheet is 0.2 mm.
The special thin thickness will offer a lot help for the supply shortage problem.
This plant would be an integrated steelmaking mill for stainless hot rolled coil/sheet of 1,440,000 tonne per year after second phrase construction finished. And they also planned to purchase Germany, Japan and Austri production equipment.
