Some sales of off-grade Russian cobalt gave the impression prices were retreating, said a trader, but last week, prices for 99.8% Co narrowed to $14.25-14.50 per lb compared to $13.90-14.50, and some traders believe prices could rise to $15 in the next month. Mid-grade cobalt sales were booked at slightly above $14.
