In Wuhai, Inner Mongolia, the calcium carbide was offered at RMB 2650-2700/mt (USD432-440/mt). The price was maintained at 2800-2850/mt (USD456-464/mt) in Ningxia and Gansu region (northwest of China). The rate of operation of factories basically kept the same level with the earlier stage. Some producers said that they wanted to raise the ex-work price.
It is expected that the price will rise in the late July.
