PrintIt’s reported that Posco Assan TST, the first stainless steel cold rolling mill in Turkey has started its commercial production on July 1st.
The company targeted to produce 200,000 tons per year in the first phase.
Meanwhile, it will produce stainless cold rolled coils (CRC) with thickness of 0.3mm-3mm and width up to 1,600mm.
Furthermore, the mill’s capacity will be increased to 400,000 tons and 600,000 tons per year in future expansions.
Besides, Posco Assan TST has aimed on Turkish stainless CRC market for use in electric appliances and automobiles.
