Print[ferro-alloys.com] 25th, July, 2013, MIIT published the first elimination capacity companies list in 2013. According to the data, it all eliminated 964,500 tons of calcium carbide, involved 27 enterprises and 40 calcium carbide furnaces. This time mainly eliminated the furnace type of 16500 KVA, 12500KVA and smaller furnaces.
The main elimination situation was as following, it included mainly Shanxi 12 furnaces (309,000 tons), Shaanxi 7 furnaces (267,000 tons), Inner Mongolia 6 furnaces (150,000 tons) and Ningxia 5 furnaces (156,000 tons) etc.
