[Ferro-Alloys.com]From September, the domestic price of FeSiMgRe increased slightly. The price would increase by RMB200/mt in Inner Mongolia. Some companies said that the rising of ferrosilicon price was not because of demand, but the rising cost. In the first half of August, price of magnesium metal increased sharply, at late August silicon also increased slightly and after September, rare earth metal began to rise. The main reason of FeSiMgRe increased was price of those materials rising so that pushed the market price.

In early September, the domestic FeSiMgRe prices were as follows: Inner Mongolia, FeSiMgRe6-2 # mainstream ex-work price was RMB8,200/mt(USD1344/mt, export duty not included), 8-3 # mainstream prices was RMB8,500-8,800/mt(USD1393/mt-1442/mt, export duty not included), 8-5# was RMB9,200/mt(USD1508/mt, export duty not included), and 8-7 #was RMB10,000-10,200/mt(USD1639/mt-1672/mt, export duty not included). The price was different between the same FeSiMg having different content in other regions. The most influence for the price was the rare earth, so there was a different level in the overall price.
