PrintJMB reported that ferrous scrap export price hit JPY 21,000 per tonne FAS from Osaka bay for H2 grade at export tender held by Kansai Tetsugen.
The price is JPY 2,150 lower than other Osaka dealers group's tender on February 10th 2009 and JPY 1,750 lower than tender by Kanto Tetsugen on February 12th 2009.
It mat be noted that Japanese export price decreases due to slump in East Asian market.
