Print[Ferro-Alloys.com] Reportedly, the US steel mills have cut the prices of steel long products through reducing the scrap surcharge for steel long products as the scrap base prices dropped by USD47/long ton in the US domestic market.
It’s learned that Nucor cut its prices of steel long products by USD25~USD40/short ton, effective form October 11st.
The firm reduced its prices for medium section steels and small section steels by USD30/short ton and USD40/short ton. Also, it cut the prices for deformed steel bars by USD25/short ton
