China’s Exports of Finished Steel Fall by 4.47% Y-O-Y in September

According to statistics released by the Chinese customs authorities, the country’s exports of finished steel totaled 4.92 million tons in September, decreasing by 4.47% year on year and slumping by 1.22 million tons from a month ago.
 
In September, the country’s imports of finish steel totaled 1.24 million tons, rising by 3.3% year on year and increasing by 10,000 tons from the previous month.
 
In the first nine months of this year, China’s exports of finish steel amounted to 46.9 million tons, increasing by 14.6% year on year. At the same time, the country’s imports of finished steel totaled 10.48 million tons, decreasing by 0.4% year on year.
