PrintZinc prices moved down by 0.33% to Rs 119.25 per kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels, driven by subdued demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in November moved down by 40 paise, or 0.33%, to Rs 119.25 per kg in business turnover of 1,110 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in December traded lower by 25 paise, or 0.21%, to Rs 120.60 per kg in 69 lots.
Analysts said besides profit booking by speculators at prevailing higher levels amid subdued demand in the spot markets mainly influenced zinc prices at futures trade.
