The official disclosed In B2B market, steel industry was the largest industry. It had the best vitality and maturity. That was why MIIT took it as a priority consideration. They found most large steel enterprises were doing e-commerce or upgrading supply chain. He concluded e-commerce in iron & steel industry was inevitable.
He pointed out China’s steel production capacity was the largest of the world. However, the whole industry was on the brink of loss at present. The core of electronic commerce in steel industry was trade. More applicable and more popular trade modes must be explored.
Many steel traders in debt had run away since last year. On that account, modern logistics must be set in steel industry and e-commerce was needed to promote the cooperation between steel enterprises and banks.
